Does Your Team Have A Chance To Win The Superbowl?

New England Patriots (+675) – The Pats are the cream of the crop in the AFC right now, but there are definitely questions as to whether WR Chad Ochocinco and DT Albert Haynesworth are going to be able to carry them come playoff time. Getting to the playoffs isn’t the question. Having the toughness to beat some of those hardnosed postseason teams is the hard part.

Philadelphia Eagles (+700) – The favorites in the NFC are getting a lot of hype right now because of their new secondary, which now includes Asante Samuel, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and Nnamdi Asomugha, but we aren’t so sure that this price is justified with the rest of this team surrounding QB Michael Vick.

Green Bay Packers (+725) – The champs check in as the third favorite this year because they largely return the same core from the team that dominated in the postseason a year ago. QB Aaron Rodgers also gets back RB Ryan Grant and TE Jermichael Finley to add to an already potent offense.

San Diego Chargers (+1000) – The Chargers were the biggest disappointments in the league last year, but they are one of the favorites on the Super Bowl lines this season because they almost always rank in the Top 10 in the league both offensively and defensively, and the drama with WR Vincent Jackson appears to be over with.

Dallas Cowboys (+1500) – Getting back a healthy QB Tony Romo is crucial, but Head Coach Jason Garrett has a lot to prove if he thinks he can go from missing the playoffs to a Super Bowl contender in one season.

New Orleans Saints (+1500) – QB Drew Brees is still one of the best in the biz, but when you look at the rest of the moves that this team made in the offseason, you can’t help but wonder if the squad is better than it was last year when it couldn’t even win the NFC South. RB Mark Ingram has a huge load to carry on his shoulders this year.

New York Jets (+1500) – Head Coach Rex Ryan missed out on Asomugha this year, but he is certainly going to bring a side with a ton of swagger into this season. If QB Mark Sanchez doesn’t improve greatly though, New York can’t win the Super Bowl in spite of the fact that it has been to back to back AFC Championship Games.

Pittsburgh Steelers (+1500) – The Steelers are always a team to contend with for the Super Bowl, knowing that they have a ton of winning pedigree in their background. This is a team with unfinished business from last year, and a Pittsburgh squad with motivation is even scarier than one without it.

Atlanta Falcons (+1600) – This is an awfully disrespectful Super Bowl spread for a team that won the NFC’s No. 1 seed last year and stormed to a near perfect record at home. WR Julio Jones will make this offense all the more dynamic than it was last season.

Baltimore Ravens (+1700) – The Ravens always seem to get into the postseason, which makes this price a fantastic one to invest in for the long term. Baltimore was arguably one drive away from glory last season on the road at Pittsburgh, and Head Coach John Harbaugh and his staff are inching closer to bringing the Ravens back to a title.

Indianapolis Colts (+1800) – It’s hard to see the Colts all the way down here on the list, but until we know that QB Peyton Manning’s neck injury isn’t going to hamper him, we can’t invest in this team.

New York Giants (+2500) – QB Eli Manning and company are afterthoughts in the NFC East this year, but Head Coach Tom Coughlin and company have the goods to get into the postseason.

Houston Texans (+3000) – If DBs Danieal Manning and Johnathan Joseph are the real deal for the Texans, they could be a playoff team for the first time in team history this year.

Chicago Bears (+3400) – Don’t believe in QB Jay Cutler and the Chicago offense? Neither do we. Unless the defense carries this team all the way, the Bears won’t even be playoff contenders.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3800) – After taking a monumental step forward last year to a 10 win season, the Bucs are going to take a step back this year towards .500.

Detroit Lions (+4000) – If DT Ndamukong Suh and DT Nick Fairley can dominate the inside of the battles in the trenches and if QB Matt Stafford stays healthy, and if RB Jahvid Best and the crew can control the clock with the running game, then the Lions can be contenders… but that’s a lot of ifs.

Kansas City Chiefs (+5500) – Last year’s run into the postseason was a bit of a farce. It’s going to be hard to see QB Matt Cassel and his squad posting a repeat performance this year.

St. Louis Rams (+5500) – Winning the NFC West isn’t out of the question, but for Rams fans, just watching QB Sam Bradford continue to grow should be good enough.

Miami Dolphins (+6000) – The Dolphins definitely have some false expectations for this season if they think that they’re contending for the playoffs. Obviously, the Super Bowl oddsmakers aren’t buying them, and neither are we.

Minnesota Vikings (+6000) – If the Packers take a step backwards this year, QB Donovan McNabb could have the Vikes at least thinking about contending for the playoffs.

San Francisco 49ers (+6500) – QB Colin Kaepernick isn’t the savior for this franchise. Neither is Head Coach Jim Harbaugh.

Arizona Cardinals (+8000) – If QB Kevin Kolb is the real deal, this is a fantastic price on Arizona and what could be a very potent offense.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+8000) – Head Coach Jack Del Rio probably gets his walking papers this year, especially if he turns the ball over to rookie QB Blaine Gabbert in the near future.

Oakland Raiders (+8000) – A lot of people think that a second year in the saddle for QB Jason Campbell might be just enough to let the silver and black seem relevant this year.

Tennessee Titans (+8500) – Last year, QB Matt Hasselbeck found the Fountain of Youth and brought the Seahawks to the playoffs. Unfortunately though, his new team in Tennessee doesn’t play in the NFC West.

Denver Broncos (+13500) – This could be an interesting Super Bowl dark horse if LBs Elvis Dumervil and Von Miller prove to be defensive difference makers.

Seattle Seahawks (+15000) – Everyone else aside from Head Coach Pete Carroll has written off the chances for QB Tarvaris Jackson to make it in this league.

Cleveland Browns (+17000) – General Manager Mike Holmgren is getting there with this team, but the lack of spending in the offseason definitely concerns us.

Washington Redskins (+17000) – Of the 32 starting signal callers in the league, QB John Beck is clearly No. 32 in our eyes. Don’t be shocked if QB Andrew Luck is playing in DC in 2012.

Buffalo Bills (+20000) – The Bills made some decent moves in the offseason, but they totally lost out on the QB carousel both in the draft and via free agency.

Carolina Panthers (+20000) – At least QB Cam Newton should make things remotely interesting on Tobacco Road this year. He, RB DeAngelo Williams, and RB Jonathan Stewart should be able to run a fun offense.

Cincinnati Bengals (+20000) – Unless all of a sudden, new Offensive Coordinator Jay Gruden is working miracles, the Bengals are going to be a train wreck offensively… and it’s not like this team ever had a good defense either. See ya, Head Coach Marvin Lewis!
