The reason the sports books are fearful of booking baseball is the many long streaks that it offers. Baseball runs in streaks like no other sport. The sports books know that when the players are winning, they’ll press their bets and can really win a phenomenal amount of money. Let’s take a closer look:
We will start with the billionaires club. Overall we are 14-10; a respectable 58%. Especially in baseball where you bed with odds, not points. So winning percentages are by nature lower than either football or basketball.
But in the middle of the betting, we had a winning streak of 6-0. So even if one is “chopping” a win here and a loser there…and then ran off a 6-0 streak, it will pay bigger dividends because that success will have more players “pressing” up their bets (compounding), resulting in a huge spike in their winnings.
The no limit club is 16-10; also very respectable at 62%. But again, the streaks come into play. We have had a 5-1, 3-1, and a 4-1 winning streak. So instead of looking at the over all numbers of 16-10, it was during the streaks where we made our bigger bets that were a combined 12-3; a cool 80% streak in which compounded winning offered a chance to increase our wagers…and profits!
The over-all 60% winning record for the first 5 weeks is “money-in-the-bank”. But the streaks of 6-0, 5-1, 3-1, and 4-1 tell a completely different story when it comes to multiplying profits. Baseball has and will always be a game of winning streaks and therefore betting s=t=r=e=a=k=s.
Winners and losers are all part of the betting equation, but if we win 2, lose 2, win 2 lose 1, and then rattle off a streak of 6-0 or 8-2, it will always result in huge paydays for our clients. So instead of looking at the over-all win/loss record, look for the streaks in baseball and capitalize on those winning s=t=r=e=a=k=s.
It’s money in the bank!!
